Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress famous for her performance in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. In the Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is well known for her work in numerous notable projects, both in the United States as well as internationally.
